I’ve decided to give blogging another shot. Things have changed (for the better <3) since my last go-around, so I’ve switched up the site a bit. My new blog is called Pretty Modest. I will be posting modest, Christian fashion choices, outfits, accessories, hair, etc. I’m very excited about this and hope each and every one of you enjoy my new take on fashion! 🙂
For my first post, I’m going to do a quick recap of some of my favorite, most recent outfits. I’ll try to link similar items below, so you guys can recreate the looks if you feel inspired
This outfit is one of my favorites! J Crew never fails with their cute, classy but still trendy pieces. I especially love their skirts. (Tip: I normally buy a size bigger than I would usually wear so that the skirt is a little longer. If it’s too big in the waist or hips, I have them tailored to fit better.)
I wore this outfit to Oakes Farm, a pumpkin patch close to Knoxville, TN. I paired a cozy blanket scarf with a red long sleeve, belted skirt, and my favorite pair of rain boots from Joules. Joules is probably my favorite brand for rain boots because they are absolutely adorable. If you already own Hunter boots, though, and don’t feel like spending extra dough just for a bow (like how I rhymed there?), you can head on over to Poppy Clips. You just clip the bow on the back of your old rain boots, and there you have it! Instant boot makeover!
Betsey Johnson purse
I would also like to take a moment to appreciate this Betsey Johnson bag (pictured with leopard flats above) I bought at TJ Maxx! Is it not adorable? I wore it with a cute tee, jean skirt, leopard belt, and leopard flats with a hot pink toe. The flats really just brought the whole outfit together!
Dress and shoes from Target
I just absolutely love this dress! Floral dresses are really on-trend this season, especially in fall colors like this one. I paired it with some strappy burgundy ballet flats.
Well, folks, I think that about wraps it up for today! I hope you all enjoyed this post, and please make a suggestion for new posts if you have any. Don’t forget to hit that follow button and enter your email for updates on new posts! I’ll see y’all soon!
