Stripes and Fringe (Plus How I Styled my Hair!)

Hey, Y’all!

I don’t know about you guys, but I am totally obsessed with this look! I’m really digging the whole casual-cool vibe. My favorite thing about this laid-back look has got to be my Birkenstocks. I’m totally obsessed with them right now! Once you break them in, they’re probably some of the most comfortable shoes you’ll ever own. Although my mother isn’t the biggest fan of these strappy sandals, they’re totally trendy, and I am loving them! They compliment the effortless style of this outfit so well!

To complete the casual vibe, I decided to try some messy waves. It was actually pretty simple. I braided my wet head into two french braids, wore them the entire day, and slept in them. When I woke up, I undid the braids, and viola! I had perfectly tousled waves! There were several strands that didn’t actually want to cooperate with the rest of my head, so I used a clampless curling wand to curl a few strands of straight hair. It was a pretty simple hairstyle and one I will definitely be trying again!

Messy hairstyles like this one work really well on my hair since it has a natural wave. Wearing it like this all the time, though, leaves my hair lifeless. Hairstyles that use lots of gel and hairspray strip my locks of their shine, so I use lots of different oils. Argan oils are my favorite! You can apply the oils to damp or dry hair, but make sure you only use a small amount. Using too much, will make your hair greasy.

I’ve linked my favorite oil to use here! I’d love to hear what products you other lovely ladies use to tame your mane! Leave a comment below if you’d like to share!

Thanks for stopping by, darlings! Don’t forget to like and follow!

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
